Coit Tower (.8mi)
Located atop Telegraph Hill, this round 210 foot stone tower offers panoramic views of the city and the bay, including the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges. Inside the base of the tower are impressive murals entitled Life in California and 1934.
Fisherman’s Wharf /Pier 39 (1.4mi)
Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 satisfy tourists in search of food, shops and entertainment. The real stars of the show are the hundreds of lively sea lionson the marina’s western docks. You can also catch a sightseeing ferry to Alcatraz Island from here.

"Popovers are an addictive treat" and the fried chicken is "simply delicious" at this "consistently satisfying" FiDi American by Tyler Florence, staffed by a "hospitable" crew.

Packing "a very trendy punch", this "modern" Downtown steakhouse "lounge" attracts a "cool" crowd with its "chic" "retro" design as a backdrop for "imaginative" starters and "real-deal" cuts of beef.

Parking is available at a discounted rate at Embarcadero Garage which is a ½ block walk to/from Club Quarters. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Guests with minimal luggage or luggage that transports easily may go directly to the garage. For those guests who prefer to unload first, you may stop in front of the hotel entrance to unload your luggage before proceeding to the garage. The cost is $33 plus tax for 24 hours with no in/out privileges and is paid directly to the parking garage. For in/out privileges guests must present the garage ticket to Club Quarters, San Francisco where they will be issued a pass. The cost for in/out privileges is $37 plus tax for 24 hours, paid directly to the hotel.
From Club Quarters to the Embarcadero Garage:
Make a right at the corner of Battery and Clay Streets. About 20 yards on your left is the Embarcadero 1 Parking Garage. Enter the garage take a ticket. Park your vehicle and take the parking ticket.
To Club Quarters from Garage:
Take the elevator to the ground floor. When exiting the elevator, go through the glass doors and turn left. Club Quarters is on the far right hand corner.
To retrieve your car:
Make a left out of the hotel. At the four way intersection, cross the street. Once on the other side, you need to cross over to the Embarcadero center. Continue straight to the entrance of Embarcadero, on the right side. Go through the glass doors and take the elevator to your parking level. If your parking was charged to your account, present both the ticket you received when you parked your car, as well as the ticket you received from Club Quarters. If you did not have your parking charged to your room account, than you may pay the clerk at the booth directly.
Walking Directions from Embarcadero Station
From the Embarcadero Station, take the Drum Street Exit, continue on Drum for two and half blocks to Clay Street. Then Turn left on Clay. Continue on Clay for three and half blocks to Battery Street. The Hotel is located on the right hand side between Battery and Sansome, next to Elephant and Castle Restaurant.
From the South (on 101)
Slight right on to I-80 East. (Signs for Bay Bridge/Oakland). Take exit 2 for 4th Street. Turn left onto Bryant. Take 1st left onto 3rd Street. Continue onto Kearny. Turn Right on Clay. Club Quarters will be on the left past Sansome Street.
From the Northeast (on I-80, San Francisco/Bay Bridge)
Stay on I-80W towards San Francisco. After crossing the Bay Bridge, take the first San Francisco exit on the right side, Fremont Street. Continue on Fremont across Market St. Fremont Street becomes Front Street. Go for two blocks on Front Street, take left at Sacramento Street. Take Sacramento Street for two blocks to Sansome Street. Take right on Sansome Street for one block to Clay St. Take right on Clay. Club Quarters will be located on the left hand side between Sansome and Battery.
From Golden Gate Bridge
After crossing Bridge, take Lombard Street exit. Take Lombard St to Van Ness. Take right onto Van Ness. Take Van Ness to Broadway St. Left onto Broadway. Take Broadway to Battery St. Take Battery Street to Sacramento St. Right onto Sacramento St. One block to Sansome Street, right onto Sansome Street. One block to Clay Street, right onto Clay Street. Club Quarters will be located on the left hand side on Clay between Sansome and Battery.
From San Francisco International Airport
Go north from SFO, stay right at the fork. Follow signs for 101 North/San Francisco. Merge right on to 101 North. Continue on 101 North to San Francisco Take slight right onto I-80 East. (Signs for Bay Bridge/Oakland) Take exit 2 for 4th Street. Turn left onto Bryant. Take 1st left onto 3rd Street. Continue onto Kearny. Turn Right on Clay. From Oakland International Airport
Take Airport Dr. Turn right onto Hegenberger Road. Take I-880 North. Exit I-880 via ramp at sign "I-80 W to San Francisco/Bay Bridge". After crossing the Bay Bridge, take the first San Francisco exit on the right side, Fremont Street. Continue on Fremont across Market St. Fremont Street becomes Front Street.
