  • North End (.7 mi)

308 Hanover Street, Boston, MA 02113

Here the streets are narrow and compact, and there is history - Old North Church, Paul Revere’s house and burial grounds seemingly around every corner. Also known as “Little Italy” with fine dining, amazing cafes and boutiques.

  • Legal Sea Foods

    , Boston, MA 02109

There are lots of them, but "quality control" ensures that each of these "thriving", "dependable" outlets is still a "not-to-be-missed" "Boston tradition" thanks to "satisfying", "impeccably fresh" seafood served "quick" by "perky", "courteous" staffers.

  • McCormick & Schmick’s

1 North Market Street, Boston, MA 02109

"Only a brave seafood chain would enter" such a "tough" market, but these "worthwhile" franchise links in Faneuil Hall and Park Square "hold their own", with "always fresh", "interesting" fare.

  • Elephant & Castle

161 Devonshire Street, Boston, MA 02110

“True to its good, old-fashioned roots”, this “boisterous” Downtown Crossing link in a British pub chain boasts “lots of charm” and a plethora of on-tap brews.

  • Scholars American Bistro & Cocktail Lounge

25 School Street, Boston, MA 02108

Scholars American Bistro and Cocktail Lounge is a unique and innovative addition to the Downtown Crossing area, offering refined cuisine and imaginative cocktails in an uncommonly relaxed atmosphere.

  • Q Restaurant

660 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02111

”Novelty" or not, the Mongolian hot pots at this "modern", "comfortable" Chinatown locale – which also offers other "fresh" Asian options like sushi and Chinese dishes – are "healthful", "spicy" and "tasty".

  • Umbria Prime

295 Franklin Street, Boston, MA 02110

Financial District beef eaters tuck into "delicious" cuts at this "high-end" Italian steakhouse, though there's "fresh homemade pastas" and the like for vegetarians too; the "fine-dining experience" is "expensive but well worth it", and comes complete wit
